Filmmaker and great friend Jeffrey Goodman
Everyone at WitD is most concerned about the situation in Louisiana with Hurricane Isaac, and the safety of our dear friend Jeffrey Goodman and his family. Jeffrey, we are all thinking about you buddy, and expect to hear from you soon that all is well. New Orleans is one of the greatest cities in the world, but Mother Nature must find this out too.
This week’s Monday Morning Diary as per custom when there are three day holiday weekends, will become the Tuesday Morning Diary, and will post on the early morning of September 4th. We wish all our American readers an enjoyable Labor Day!

Sam, thanks so much. All is well here in Shreveport. South of us, of course, is still dealing with quite a bit of flooding and power losses for many, many people. Indeed Laurie indeed! Jeffrey it is a great relief to hear from you thjat all is well in the Shreveport area. Last week in documenting the storm’s ominous path our very good friend John Greco had voiced deep concern for the Goodmans after the storm had veered away from his Tampa home, plotting a new course for New Orleans. It was at that point after John alerted us that many of us were frightened. Thanks fo stopping in to confirm that all is well my friend. And our thoughts go out to those south of you who have to endure the flooding and outages.
Wonderful Labor Day news from Jeffrey Goodman! I know Shreveport is on the other end of the state, but small solace with this kind of threat. Glad to hear all is well.
