Hello! Sam Juliano, Allan, WitD writers, and WitD readers…
I have decided to add a subscription to the Noir City e-magazine into the mix…for the two challengers who [win the challenge] can now either select “Body and Soul,” “Force Of Evil,” or a subscription to Noir City e-magazine.
If I’m able to collect enough signatures without the John Garfield Challenge…I plan to turn the Garfield Challenge into a Garfield Give Recognition Back To A Legendary Star Contest.
An Update: Warner Archives…has released Garfield’s “Nobody Lives Forever” as part Of their MOD…However, this isn’t what I think Lori Moore, and the fans Of Garfield, is in search Of, I think she want all Of his film restored and placed in a box-set…
…Most importantly, if WB Archives film looks like the trailer that they WB Archives email to me…then I say back to lab and start restoring procedures.
I’m not sure, but I think that The Film Noir Foundation invested in a pristine copy Of Garfield’s “The Breaking Point” which is available to view only at screenings. Now, that is the kind Of, print that we want included in a Garfield box-set.
By the way, actor John Garfield’s daughter Julie Garfield signed her father’s petition [Her comment and signature can be found at No#5…I think that her comment alone is reason for me to try and help Lori Moore get WB and TCM to consider creating a box-set for actor John as in Garfield… Priceless!
Thank-you,
deedee
Hi! Sam Juliano, Allan, WitD writers and readers…
Coming up: Taking a look at John…[Garfield]
Tks,
deedee
Hello! Sam Juliano, Allan, WitD writers and readers…
I plan to add another incentive for those Of you who would like more choices to choose from…It appears as if no one is answering the Garfield Challenge…Therefore, the contest question(s) maybe extremely, difficult… making one wish that they would have fulfilled the Garfield Challenge. Just Kidding! lol
Bring em on Dee Dee!!!!
Hi! Sam Juliano, Allan, WitD writers and readers…

Here goes an interesting article about novelist James M.Cain last novel “The Cocktail Waitress…”
Noir novelist James M. Cain’s last book “The Cocktail Waitress” which will debuts in September
…Which may be added to my growing list Of incentive in the Garfield Challenge… too!
This is fantastic news for Cain admirers and noir readers!!!! I never realized that there was still another to publish!! Wow!!!
“Bring em on Dee Dee!!!!”
Ha!ha!…Sam, one question was going to be what are buttons?
[When the term is used in the world Of blogging.]
“This is fantastic news for Cain admirers and noir readers!!!! I never realized that there was still another to publish!! Wow!!!”
Oh! yes, but unfortunately, I have not read any Of Cain’s novels, but I have watched both “Mildred Pierce” and “The Postman Always Ring Twice.”
Therefore, this new discovery may send me in the direction Of seeking all Of his novels out to read… too!
Hello! Sam Juliano, Allan, WitD writers and readers…
I plan to up-dated and spell-out all Of the incentives to be Offer in The Garfield Challenge…[Remember: There are two different Challenges on-going one for Max Blooms' Noir Cafe patrons and another Challenge for everyone to participate.]
Thanks,
deedee
