For correctly guessing the first one set by Tony, Alexander gets lumbered with the choice for today’s question, and in true cryptic fashion, it’s a real (expletive deleted).

Patton.
Hi! Allan,
I’am so sorry, but I’am afraid Alexander, may have to select another picture… 😯
….Alexander, I will email you, and tell you why you may have to select another pix.
Deedee 😉
Shot in the dark, but is this “Jacob’s Ladder”?
Jon: I believe you may have done it with that selection!!!!
But I am not quite privy yet to what Dee Dee is saying there. Is there a mistake with the still?
Haha, yes, there is a mistake. If you roll your cursor over the picture, the title of the film pops up.
However, Jon wins in any case so it’s no big deal!
I picked this merely because I set out to watch it again last night and I did.
Well, I fixed the problem on its doing that, but I’m glad Jon got it anyway, as we’d have been here until Doomsday.
He has the right to pick and send me a picture for the weekend, though we won’t make a habit of insisting, or else people may find it a bit of unnecessary hassle and not answer.
lol, guys. Hopefully you believe me when I say I didn’t cheat, unless I read the caption in my peripheral vision and it subliminally influenced my choice, which is possible.
Anyway, even more exciting is the possibility of an essay on this underrated thriller from Alexander the Great (perhaps?). I haven’t seen this in quite a while but I remember enjoying it when I did, particularly the denouement (which is why I assumed I had been able to recall this image, unless my subliminal theory is true).
Does this mean I get to pick a screenshot?
Jon, I believe you do! And yes, you knew this without any help, that’s for sure.
Yes, Jon, I am considering this for an upcoming essay over at CCC! 🙂
I bequeath the Honor of the Screenshot to Jon.
