Specs on the upcoming Third Annual Allan Fish Online Film Festival will be sent out to the e mail chain next week but it is anticipated little will change from last year’s basic ground rules.  Jamie Uhler will be chairing the great event once again.  Allan’s birthday is May 28th, so it is expected we’ll begin about a week before that.  One of the busiest and most eventful weeks of all-time for us is hereby documented.  The fours days we attended Tribeca (Thursday through Sunday) we saw fifteen (15) films.  We still have seven more days left to the festival!

MS Walk in Overpeck park Sunday morning!

An MS walk was staged yesterday in Overpeck Park (Ridgefield Park-Leonia) in behalf of Lucille and MS warriors. Family members and friends participated on a drizzly morning.  Attendees included David and Mary Aveta, Melanie and her friend Arianna, Jillian, my brother Thomas Juliano, Sammy and Jeremy with their friend Evan, teacher Kim Locurcio and others.

Eric Lampmann Graduate Recital in Jersey City

Our amazingly talented nephew Eric Lampmann (Lucille’s sister Elaine’s youngest son) performed a woodwind bonanza last night at Rossey Hall on the campus of Jersey City University for his Graduate recital enroute to his master’s degree in music. Eric played four instruments including “Three Etudes on Themes of Gershwin” and “Oodles of Noodles” by Jimmy Dorsey.

Our great friend and artist extraordinaire Wendell Minor made another appearance yesterday at Books of Wonder to promote his magnificent new collaboration with Tony Johnston, “The Magic of Letters.” As always it is a special treat to meet up with Wendell and his dear wife Florence Friedmann Minor, two of the most talented and most beautiful human beings on the planet.
